CSA Czech Airlines is the Czech Republic’s national airline and former carrier for Czechoslovakia, based at Ruzyně International Airport in Prague. The airline connects most European destinations and also has flights to Asia and the Middle East. In 2006, the airline had more than 5.5 million travelers. The company has a bonus program called the “OK Plus Frequent Flyer Program” and is a member of the Skyteam alliance.

CSA was founded on October 6, 1923 by the Czechoslovak government as CSA Československé státní aerolinie. Twenty-three days later, the first flight between Prague and Bratislava took place. At that time, the airline had only domestic flights until the first international flight was made from Prague to Bratislava and Zagreb in 1930.
